Abusive FA - should I file a grievance report?
Okay, so I am trying to decide whether to report an abusive FA (facility administrator). The list is long, but I only just began writing it down to document it. I don't want to take away their livelihood, but seriously, they have no business being in their position. They refuse to listen to anything I try to tell them about my health, choosing instead to put me down, belittling me, saying I don't know what I'm talking about. They'll say things like, "I've been in dialysis for xx years, so I think I know better than you!" Nevermind that it's MY body we're discussing and I've been a dialysis patient for almost 12 years, now (and to my knowledge, this person has never had dialysis in their life). I've already lost one access due to a massive infection caused at a previous center, but today they were actually mocking me, calling me a germaphobe, because I wanted my blood pressure cuff bleach-wiped after falling on the dirty floor. Our center has a chronic bug problem (gnats, mostly) which only ever gets addressed with vinegar (acetic acid). The floors never get fully cleaned, but that's in pretty much every center I've been to; my point being, there are germs, even if the floor was "Mopped every night", which they claim but I don't believe it (because I've found blood on the floor in the same spot for more than one treatment - which I did report, by the way, to the tech). This person is rude, dismissive, and seems to think everything is a joke. They also don't always change gloves, but my main question is, how much should I put up with before filing a grievance?
