  • Increasing energy without increasing protein

I would like to increase my energy level, but all the information I have found recommends eating higher amounts of protein, which we all know isn't good for someone with Stage 3 CKD. All the foods they recommend are either high-protein or have potassium levels off the hook. I'm wondering if there's any way to increase energy without adversely affecting protein, potassium, phosphorous or sodium levels.

I?m new to this forum, but also would like more info on non-protein recipes. Stage3 and fatty
    Liver cause hard diets.

Fruits : Apple, banana, pears, peaches, berries, grapefruit.
Vegetables : Tomato, pepper, broccoli, leafy greens, asparagus.
Grains : Rice, Oats, bread, pasta, barley.

The above mentioned food items will surely helps to increase the energy level and also it contains low protein. I hope the above mentioned food items will fulfill your wish.

I would also go with the fruit and veggies recommendation. I particularly like an overnight oats recipe with some fruits.

I think getting more sleep is something that can increase our energy without having to increase our protein intake.
