Should I change from hemo to PD

I am thinking of changing fro hemo to Pd kind of scared any thoughts

I been on PD six years and was on Hemo two years before that.I would highly recommend it !!!

I was apprehensive as well about switching from hemo to PD, but I love it! It was the best change I've done and I kick myself for waiting for as long as I did to switch. The freedom I have now and how much better I feel has been so worth it.

My son is 22 and he is doing really well, his numbers have improved and he can do it at night while he sleeps. Good luck!

I had PD in only 3 weeks last fall when I developed a bad infection in my abdomen. I ended up having surgery and having the PD taken out. The doctor said, I could try for PD at a latter time, but I'm not sure about that as that infection was bad. My fistula in my arm developed a blood clot so I haven't been able to use my arm instead they have put a cather in my neck for dialysis.

I was just remembering how grateful not to be on hemo. With PD I’m able
to get up and move around rather than being tied to that chair at 5:30am.
We just returned from a trip to Fla.Dialisys in our camper is no problem.
