Working while going through dialysis

I’ve been on dialysis for 17 months and still work while going to treatments. I work as a Quality Control Manager at my facility. My bosses were very kind and understanding once I told them about my situation. They allow me to come to work and leave at a time that convenient to my treatments. I’m forever grateful for working with such a great group of people. I don’t always feel my best after treatments so I usually take a nap before going to work and I helps.

I work full-time, and do dialysis after work. I couldn't imagine doing it before work.
