Sensipar does more than treat calcium levels. Sensipar is an oral calcimimetic medication that lowers the levels of parathyroid hormone, phosphurous and calcium in patients undergoing kidney dialysis or in patients with parathroid cancer.

Sensipar is indicated for the treatment of secondary hyperparathyroidism in chronic kidney disease patients on dialysis and the treatment of elevated calcium levels (hypercalcemia) in patients with parathyroid carcinoma.

Bottom line, this drug works to keep your calcium, phosphorous and pth levels balanced. It is important for your bone health.

The BC Provincial Renal Organization provides funding for Sensipar on a restricted basis to people who fail conventional therapy or who meet the criteria as described on the program form to be completed by the neurologist.

        Thanks!

There may be a reduction in the amount of bowel movements because digestion has slowed down, and food is now being absorbed and assimilated as opposed to being passed at a quicker and therefore less productive rate. Retaining Walls

Do NOT take any body-bulding supplements without asking your nephrologist first. Many of them will screw-up your blood values. internal engine repair
