After changing dialyzers for a couple of days and increasing my time in center dialysis, my kt/v improved. BUT, I was changed back to the PREVIOUS settings and not passing kt/v. With the presiding doctor present, the nurse said I WOULD HAVE TO BE APPROVED TO STAY ON DIALYZER I passed with. My question is APPROVED BY WHOM?...Mind you doctor was present when this was brought up. NO RESPONSE!

The nurse informed the presiding doctor that I would require approval to continue using the dialysis machine I passed with. WHO has approved of my question? Keep in mind that a doctor was present while this was discussed. gmail
