There isn't a section for CKD news so I'm posting this link under this section. My wife just shared this article with me and this has been the best news I've read so far. The last time I was this excited was when I found out there's an artificial kidney on the horizon!

This is just the latest "new breakthrough" I've read about over the last 25-30 years, none of which have ever actually resulted in any meaningful therapy, so don't get your hopes up just yet.

Ever see Shawshank Redemption? There was two quotes in that movie that I really liked:

"Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things and no good thing ever dies."
