  • In loving memory

My name is jon and i have been on dialysis going on my 3 1/2 yr mark.....during this time i became very close to another davita patient, her name is Marcia Allbright. Marcia recieved her transplant a few mos. ago and i'm very sad to say she passed away 2 weeks ago. it is a very sad day. This world is so screwed up already, to know such a good person is not here anymore hurts. I am truly sad. This is not fair. We have been given a death sentance. Please pray for her soul, and yours and mine. Thank you for reading this. Most people don't understand what it's like to have to be on dialysis, i have some comfort now, knowing that the whole world can see her name here.

Thank you, Jon, for sharing Marcia's name with us. I am glad she had you as a friend, and am sure she felt the same about you. You keep on; it's always a risk to make friends but it's worth it. Apparently, Marcia left something with you that said it's worth it. Share her legacy with others--pass along her friendliness with others. God bless you and keep you in His loving care,

thanks. I guess that the reality of this hits hard. Can't really get used to it all. Just makes you know how short life can be and to live every day like it is your last...make it all worth while, you know......my prayers are with you.

                Hello Jon,

I am very sorry that you lost your friend Marcia. What can you and others learn from your friend. Just from reading your post-I think it is courage. You are right all of us who have this diease have been handed a death sentence. However, if we stop and think about it from a philosophical perspective, all hummanity has been handed a death sentence from birth. It is sad when a friend and a good person like your Marcia has to pass away. There are no words of confort for your loss. Yet for you, just knowing Marcia, she has made your life better and you and all that new her are fortunate for having shared your life with her. Jon, as for yourself, take her courage and let it be an inspiration to you. For you knowing your friend will be a positive influence as you continue the journey of life.. I am truly sorry for your loss.
