  • Juicing for Kidney Patients

    Hi Everyone

Does anyone here do juicing? I have IgA Nephritis with a creatinine of 318 currently so I've been told to watch my salt intake and cut down on red meats (which i rarely eat anyway).

Was reading up on juices - i know we need to also watch our potassium levels so juicing fruits like tomatoes/orange/banana etc is probably out of the question since they're high in potassium.

If anyone has any comments on this topic i'd like to hear. So far based on my google research, I haven't seen any writeup condemning juicing for renal patients. But I guess everything in moderation?
