I love them and they would make a great snack for me but I'm curious why they are on the lists of foods we shouldn't have. I'm confused about it.
I buy the sugar-free when possible because I'm diabetic but the regular ones seem like they should be allowed too.
The ones I buy have the following nutritional values:

There isn't any potassium or Phosphorus listed in the ingredients and when I check web site for nutritional content they don't list any. There is some calcium chloride in the list but near the end of the list of ingredients.
