Whey protein powder

I use "Pure Protein (brand name)" Whey Protein Powder. A Davita blueberry muffin recipe called for this ingredient and that powder didn't sound appealing to me, but I was pleasantly surprised. The muffins came out delicious and the recipe calls for a generous amount of the powder. Now I keep my pantry stocked with it because there are multiple Davita recipes that call for it. It comes in flavors - chocolate, vanilla, etc. When they are out of plain, I buy the vanilla, works just as good.

Where to buy - My local grocery carries it. The larger grocery chains usually carry it. You can also order it on Amazon.

Substitutes - soy milk, or any product high in protein that's kidney friendly, but this is an ingredient I don't substitute since its so easily obtainable.

looking at some recipes that call for whey protein powder . Which do you buy . new to all this where do i buy the powder . is there a substitute i can use in the recipe
