I was advised that I could find in DaVita a section with a name something like Food Analyzer that would allow me to look up the K, Phos, protein, etc., for various foods, but I have been unable to find it. Am I looking in the wrong place?

    . . . . .

I finally did find Food Analyzer under Diet Helper, but it puts me into a complicated meal planning session instead giving me the nutritional content of an ingredient. I would like to enter the number of ounces, or cups, of an ingredient and have it tell me what the analysis is.

And, speaking for my wife, it should be an Android cellphone app. I've looked at a few, and they are not as user-friendly as they could be. You should be able to put in fractional amounts, and the totaling function should be optional as well as flexible.

Hi there! The food analyzer is part of the DaVita Diet Helper: http://diethelper.davita.com/food-analyzer. If you click that link, it should take you directly to the analyzer, where you can enter specific food items to see their nutritional content. I hope that helps! Let me know if you need any additional help or have other questions!

      Kelsey

Or, you can put the recipe into the "My Creations" section, and it will calculate everything per serving.
