    Kidney pain

Wondering what I can take for persistant kidney pain, I have asked my dr and she said not much will help.
History..years ago stone removed by lithotrypsi, have had tests done within the last 3 months and no signs of stones! Glad of that, but the kidney I have the pain in is where the stone was. After the removal I developed diabetes then found several years later that I have stage 4 CKD. Is this normal to have such pain, on a scale of 1 - 10 it is about a 5, I can live with it but it really bothers me.

Does your Dr. feel that persistent kidney pain is normal? Sounds like it's time for a second opinion if your Dr. isn't willing to do more tests.
    Good luck!
