I am attempting to do what I did to get the redirect image I was able to upload in the troubleshooting section and I am going by memory here but will walk thru what I did and see if I can get an image or at least the link to show in this thread, if it works, I'll come back and see if we can get that image available to see or link on!

a link or image should hopefully appear in this area here: I mean right below here.... hmmm.... let's see!

I have never even seen a glimpse of an image once I begin the upload process (this image directly from computer) until after I post the thread and then I can see the name of the image, like it is appearing to me in the post now, it is not a picture but the name of the jpeg image SadAvatar or whatever it was that I named it! I have to click on it, which results in the itty bitty image being in a new browser window, which I have to hit the back button to return to the forum, which is totally FUNKY!

Sorry.... I was wandering off again. Click on the the little image with the tree (? bad eyes, lol!) and locate from hard drive and it will show a weird thing that looks something like this if it is successful:

[ATTACH]110[ATTACH], maybe it was another name close to that but anyway, the result is the clickable image name but it will not display until the forum knows to be presenting us with an image and not a link to the image opening in another window.... but I would only be wandering again here! Oh, don't expect it to say 110, I think that was the number of the sadavatar, yours will be something else as I think when I first posted the redirect image, it was 001.

So give that a try and see if it works for you, I have another workaround that might help display the image but I would have to fiddle with it. Maybe we can get your picture viewable and the moderators will address this matter.

One more thing, the image I posted, I made. I own the copyright to it.

Well..... how rude of me, Toni!

I forgot to say that the saying was inspiration enough, picture or not, and I loved it and I always know you and Marina and all the others are okay when I see some activity somewhere! I know it was frustrating and made sharing harder than it needs to be but hopefully it will be easier to attach images in the forum, have albums again and the other things that were some of the good things prior. Anyway, I hope that it works for you the next time!

Having posted this, I would still like to return to the old format and bring back many of the core members who truly cared about others and were inspirational to us all. I guess I haven't moved on yet.
