  • Hi

Hi, my name is Leigh and I am new to this forum. But not new to dialysis, I have been on dialysis a few years now. Currently doing home hemodialysis and I love it. The freedom, I have the control of how much a take off during a treatment and the machine is portable, I can take it with me on trips.

I started a blog about dialysis and would love any input, stories that I could quote in my blog.

    The blog is here https://leighsdialysislife.com/

    Hey Leigh!

Welcome to the forum! I am stage 4 CKD and type 1 diabetic. I am contemplating PD. I feel that it's the best option for me so that I can try to keep working. I'm glad that you are happy with home hemo. I have also thought about that option. I'm going to check out your blog as well!

          Hi Leigh!!

Great info on your Blog! I'm glad you put PD on there. So many people don't know about this option and I found PD to be very freeing!! I did manual PD so I hooked up 4 times a day whenever I wanted and it only took 20 minutes tops.

I also have a blog if you want to check it out! Let me know if you have any blogging questions too I've had to figure most of it out on my own.
