  • Visiting the USA from South Korea

My dad is visiting the U.S. for 2 weeks from South Korea. He is planning on receiving 4 or 5 dialysis treatments, and I wanted to know how much that would cost. His insurance does not cover medical costs overseas, so he will be paying out of pocket. When I called Davita today, they said it would cost him about $15,000-$20,000. I was expecting about $500 per treatment because of what I saw on one website (, so it was very shocking to hear the quote. Can someone verify that this quote is accurate? If so, are there any other options for my dad?...

  • #2 definitely cost u a big money if your dada needs an unscheduled treatment overseas.ppl normally make a appointment 3 or 4 months before travel.u may have a look at on has over 16000 dialysis hospitals around 161 countries.sure it has all the details u need.
