  • Questions about traveling on dialysis?

    image_183.jpg

Hi myDaVita! With Memorial Day & Summer right around the corner, we are hosting a Google+ Hangout (like a live chat) next Thursday, May 26 focused on traveling while on dialysis! We want to know: what questions do you have for our panelists? Ask them here and we will try to add them to the conversation.

You may also RSVP and submit additional questions here: http://bit.ly/1WBzxrj! We hope you'll join us next week!

I will soon be going on PD and I need to travel to Medellin Colombia frequently. I have noticed that DaVita has a Hemo center in Medellin but I want to know if rental equipment and supplies are readily available for travelers and what adjustments I would have to make. Thanks

Is it true that most insurances do not cover dialysis out of the US?

I am on PD Dialysis. Does Davita or Baxter offer an insurance policy for the Home Pro machine while traveling?

Hello there, I am new here. I didn't find correct theme so I ask here. Just wanted to ask who lives in Toronto? We want to visit your city and we will land in Pearson International Airport. We need to rent a car and found this https://iversta.com/ as a good choice but we don't know anything there. What do you know about it and other rent companies? We have plans but your advises what to visit are appreciated. Thank you!
