Our clinic began testing for PD adequacy on a more frequent basis, from every 3 months to every 2 months. I was wondering how often does your clinic require adequacy testing. Is there a recommended frequency established by Davita? Thank you

Not sure if this the reason but the clinic that I am part of is still on a 90 day cycle. Is it possible that KT/V results is below the 1.8 baseline and might need to make adjustments to your PD program to improve the results.

My clinic still does every 90 days, but I feel more frequent testing is better. My nurse said adequacy can fluctuate since it's just a snapshot of one 24 hour period. I'd be fine if they did it every month.
