  • Lite Cream for coffee?

Lite Cream for coffee? It has no protein. What else is wrong with it? And if that's the only thing you cheat on, is it that devastating? To have a drop of cream in your coffee in the morning?

There is most certainly protein in cream.

Even though it says 0 protein on the label? This makes me nervous because it means I can't really trust labels! TY, though.

Your diet and it's restriction will be determined on what stage you are in. While protein is to be limited it is still needed, so check with your doctor on how much you can have per day.

My husband is in stage 4 and we use coffee mate creamer or almond milk creamer in coffee. To drink his renal dr said rice milk was the best option found in the long shelf life milks not in refrigerator on shelf at Walmart.
