  • Nutritional Information for some of the Davita recipes

I was going through some of the Davita cookbooks and found that some of the recipes contain inaccurate nutritional information. For example, the Mushroom and Red Pepper Omelet has a Phosphorus amount of 167 per serving, which would mean the all the ingredients would need to add up to 334 (2 servings in the recipe). When I calculated out each ingredient it was much higher i.e., mushrooms 30, onion 6, peppers 10, butter 1, eggs 297, worcestershire sauce 3, cream cheese 46 = 393 / 2 = 196.5.

So my question is, where do these nutritional values come from? And how accurate are they? I hate to think I need to double check every recipe but if that is what it takes I will do it because I don't want to compromise my husband's health.

    Any advice?
